Happy New Year, Welcome 2026!
Praise the Lord for giving us another day, landing us into a whole new era. Who knows what this year will hold. I don’t know about you, but I’m sure waiting to see what life throws at me next.
So, here’s the thing guys, I’ve decided to trust Him!
Morning All, dear friends!
If 2025 had a headline in my heart, it would be this: God doesn’t wait for us to have it all together before He steps in. He steps in so we can come together again.
Let me take you to a story that has ministered to me and I pray it encourages you too:
There was a widow in 2 Kings 4 who cried out to Elisha saying,
“The creditors are coming to take my sons!”
She had lost her husband, had no income, no safety net, and her children were her whole world. Her situation looked hopeless, her fear was real, and the clock was ticking.
And do you know what Elisha asked her?
“What do you have in the house?”
Not because God needed much…
but because God only needs something small, something willing, something surrendered to begin a miracle.
Her answer?
“Nothing at all, except a little oil.” (v.2)
Oh friends, I love that honesty.
Not a full jug.
Not gallons.
Just a little oil.
And what did God do?
He multiplied what was small.
He filled every empty jar.
He preserved her children.
He provided dignity back to her home.
He changed her situation through a seed of obedience — not through her perfection.
And here’s the punchline:
The miracle didn’t begin with her strength.
It began with her tears + her trust + her tiny offering.
🌿 So what does this mean for us today?
Maybe you’re reading this thinking:
I don’t have enough
I don’t know the way forward
I feel like I’ve lost time
I’m tired, afraid, unsure
I don’t even know what I have to give
Well guess what?
God can work with “a little.”
He can work with “except.”
He can work with “I don’t know.”
He can work with tears.
He can work with exhaustion.
He can work with the smallest seed of surrender.
What He can’t work with is silence, isolation, and hiding — not because He’s angry, but because He blesses what is brought into the light.
And you did that this year.
You opened your heart.
You allowed prayer.
You took steps even when trembling.
That is your “little oil.”
🌿 A Word to Anyone Who Feels Behind in Life
Friends, don’t measure your life by:
how many hours you lost,
how many mistakes you made,
how many jars are still empty,
how many doors closed,
Measure your life by this instead:
Did God uphold you?
Did He preserve your soul?
Did He meet you in the valley?
Did He send love when you needed it?
Did joy return after weeping?
Because that is victory.
🌿 So, as we close 2025 tonight and step into 2026 tomorrow:
Take your little oil — your smallest prayer, your smallest step, your smallest obedience — and say like the widow said:
“Lord, this is all I have, but I trust You.”
And God will reply:
“That is enough. Now watch Me fill the jars.”
✨ New Year Blessing Over You
May God multiply what is small.
May He fill what is empty.
May He restore dignity where shame tried to sit.
May He preserve your children and bless your home.
May He lead you into 2026 step by step.
And may no one reading this today feel they are too far behind for God to intervene.
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen. 🙏✨
