Over the past few weeks, I’ve found myself watching videos.
Clips of tensions. Arguments. Loud voices.
Narratives about Britain changing… about threat… about takeover.

And if I’m honest, fear began to whisper.

Not loud at first.
Just subtle.
“What if?”
“Look what’s happening.”
“Are we losing something?”

Perhaps you’ve felt it too.

We are in the middle of Ramadan — a month when millions of Muslims are fasting and praying. At the same time, social media is full of emotionally charged content. The algorithm feeds what stirs us. And fear spreads faster than facts.

But here’s the question the Lord gently asked my heart:

Who is shaping your perspective — headlines or the Holy Spirit?

Britain may feel like it’s shifting culturally. That can feel unsettling. But the Kingdom of God has never depended on cultural dominance.

The early Church thrived under Rome.
Believers flourished when they were a minority.
The gospel has never required majority status to be powerful.

If Christ is Lord, then He is Lord over Britain.
Over Parliament.
Over communities.
Over Ramadan.
Over every searching heart.

Fear magnifies threat.
Faith magnifies Christ.

And perfect love drives out fear (First Epistle of John 4:18).

This does not mean we ignore real tensions. It does not mean we pretend everything is simple. But it does mean we refuse to let anxiety become our theology.

Instead of reacting in fear, what if we intercede in love?

Instead of asking, “How can this happen?”
We ask, “Lord, how do You want to move?”

Because here is a deeper truth:

If Christianity weakens in Britain, it will not be because Muslims fasted.
It will be because Christians stopped living radiant, compelling faith.

The answer is not panic.
The answer is awakening.

So during Ramadan, let’s fast not only from food — but from fear.

Lord, guard us from deception — whether from media, politics, or ideology. Give us clear eyes and steady hearts.

🛡 For Freedom
Protect the freedom to worship and proclaim Christ openly and peacefully in this nation.

❤️ For Muslim Communities
Where there are sincere seekers, reveal Jesus in mercy and truth. Where there are hardline ideologies, soften hearts.

🏛 For National Leadership
Grant wisdom to leaders, councils, and police to uphold justice fairly for all.

🔥 For the Church
Awaken Your Church in Britain. Make us bold, holy, compassionate, and unafraid.

Britain does not belong to fear.
It belongs to the Lord.

And our call is not to panic —
but to pray.

With peace.
With clarity.
With confidence in Christ.
